The Haumea Chapter of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. was founded March 15th, 2003 at The University of Central Florida, becoming the first chapter of Mu Sigma Upsilon in the southeastern region of the United States. The Haumea Chapter has now grown to become the largest active chapter of Mu Sigma Upsilon. Superbly exemplifying the goals and traditions of Mu Sigma Upsilon through activities and competitions such as placing first in the 2004 Unity Step and being recognized as most active sorority by UCF’s Hispanic American Student Association among several other awards and recognitions.
